About Narkanda
Narkanda is also home to the 18th-century Stokes Farm, which is widely known for its apple orchards. Give Boonies a chance to give you a guided tour where you can see varieties of apples and several experiments being done in collaboration with leading agro companies. Narkanda has also emerged as a haven for adventure enthusiasts and offers great opportunities for trekking, skiing, and other popular winter sports.
The greatest season to visit Narkanda is summer since of the lovely temperature swings from 10 and 30 degrees Celsius. Apart from being somewhat chilly, Narkanda's winters are practically as full, which makes it a perfect location for skiing in the Himalayan Shivalik Ranges.
Summer at Narkanda (April–June)
The impact of a severe winter still makes Narkanda's April quite cold. The temperature then steadily moves from its starting range of 10°C to 15°C later on. Given little rain, the roads are safe for driving on. With temperatures climbing several degrees, the weather starts to resemble a warm temperate atmosphere as summer approaches. Narkanda's summers have a maximum temperature of roughly 30°C, hence they are not very hot and muggy.
Narkanda's Monsoon (July–September)
Narkanda gets much of rain during the monsoon season. The ground is in its best foliage and beauty during this period. It lasts until September and begins to pour more frequently at the end of July. Still, this is not the best time to visit Narkanda given the severe rain, mud, and hazardous mountain roads.
Narkanda's Winter (October–February)
After being nourished all through the monsoon season, the Mountain Rivers are in full flow; conifers and pines are at their most vibrant and greenest; and the whole area is breathtaking. The winters in Narkanda are hard for folks from warm-weather areas. Temperatures might drop to -10°C or perhaps less. The village is utterly blanketed in snow and ice.
